Backcourt Club Reception Coming Tuesday Night, Orange-Out Declared for Friday's Opener

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- It's officially basketball week at Bucknell, with the 2016-17 season getting underway on Friday with the the Bison women opening on the road at Binghamton at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men opening at home against Manhattan at 7 p.m.
The annual Backcourt Club Tip-Off Reception will be held Tuesday night at Brendon's Towne Tavern on Market Street in Lewisburg. This popular event begins at 7 p.m., and fans are recommended to arrive early as seating is limited. Admission is $5 per person and includes food and drink. Every guest will receive a raffle ticket with a chance to win Bison gear, and the grand prize will be a pair of season tickets.
Head Coach Nathan Davis and select players will be attendance to talk about the upcoming season and answer questions from the audience.
Friday's opener at Sojka Pavilion has been declared an ORANGE OUT. All fans are encouraged to wear orange. The first 400 fans will receive a free tee shirt courtesy of Silvertip Inc.
