Bison Men Wrap Up Day One of Meets

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. –Bucknell men's track and field senior Grant Reynolds reached the semi-finals of the 60-meter hurdles on Friday at the Penn State National Invitational. Reynolds ran a time of 8.26 to qualify for the semi-final round, and would finish 16th overall.
Fellow seniors Olu Shoyoye and Mark Stafurik also participated on the opening day of the meet, competing in the weight throw.
18th Annual Bison Open
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Freshman Matthew Barton took first-place in the 60-meter hurdles consolation final to pace the Bucknell men in the Bison Open. Barton beat out eight runners in his section with a time of 8.75, while teammate Peter Onusconich finished as the runner-up.
Sophomore Adam Karl sits in second place after four events in the heptathlon following day one of competition. He was the top finisher in the 60-meter dash and the high jump, while finishing as the runner up in the shot put.
Freshman Matthew Fay and junior Adam Mszanski each finished in the top-five of the pole vault, finishing third and fourth, respectively.
Both the Penn State National Invitational and the Bison Open will conclude with the second day of competition on Saturday.
