Bison Men's & Women's Basketball Teams to Appear on ASN in 2016

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The American Sports Network will carry four Patriot League men's basketball games and two women's basketball games during the 2016 league schedule, and Bucknell's men's and women's teams are included in the package.
The Bison men will appear on ASN on Jan. 20 at Loyola Maryland, and on Feb. 10 at home against Lehigh. Both games will tip at 7 p.m.
The Bucknell women's team's regular-season finale at Lafayette on March 2 will be broadcast by ASN, with tip-off set for 6 p.m.
American Sports Network is a sports programming initiative of Sinclair Networks Group, a division of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., one of the largest and most diversified television broadcasting companies in the country today. Sinclair's television group reaches approximately 37.5% of US television households and includes FOX, ABC, MyTV, CW, CBS, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates. ASN was founded in July 2014.
The Patriot League has four games on ASN in the fall, with a pair in football and one in both men and women's soccer, and additional contests will be set to air in the spring. Fourteen Patriot League contests were shown on ASN in 2014-15 with the action including football, men and women's soccer, men and women's basketball and men and women's lacrosse.
Station clearances for games televised by ASN will be announced closer to the game date. All ASN telecasts will also be streamed online on the Patriot League Network.
Last week the Patriot League announced its 2015-16 CBS Sports Network television schedule.
