LEWISBURG, Pa. – Eight student-athletes from the Bucknell women's basketball team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Tuesday. The eight honorees are three more than the Bison had a season ago and rank second in the conference this season.
In order to be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.20 GPA during his/her sport's championship semester. Of the eight players that Bucknell had on the Academic Honor Roll, seven made the Dean's List with at least a 3.50, helping the Bison finish with a 3.21 GPA as a team.
Departing seniors Tara Wilk and Audrey Dotson led the way for the Bison with matching 3.89 GPAs. The pair joined Katherine Harris to give the Bison three four-time members of the Academic Honor Roll. Micki Impellizeri, Suné Swart, Jacquie Klotz, Catherine Romaine and Julia Gnieser earned the award for the first time.
