LEWISBURG, Pa. -- A very special Alumni Weekend is on tap for the Bucknell men's basketball program, which will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its historic 2005 NCAA Tournament victory over Kansas.
The weekend begins with the team's annual golf outing this Friday afternoon, May 8. Limited spots are still available for those who wish to play golf or sponsor a hole. Please contact assistant coach Ryan Ayers at 570-577-3072 or rva001@bucknell.edu to reserve a foursome.
On Saturday, the team's annual alumni game will be held at Sojka Pavilion at 10:30 a.m. Admission is free.
At 2 p.m. the members of the 2004-05 championship team will be at the Campus Theatre in downtown Lewisburg for an autograph session. And then at 3 p.m. the Bucknell-Kansas game will be shown on the big screen at the Campus Theatre. A limited number of tickets are still available for the event. Ticket holders will also receive one free fountain soda and one free bag of popcorn.
