Fellows Wins Three Events at the Jim Taylor Invitational

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Jack Fellows led the Bucknell track and field team at Susquehanna's Jim Taylor Invitational on Sunday, winning three events and qualifying for the IC4A Championships in two. Zach Williams was also a title winner on the day to give the Bison three individual victories.
Fellows won the hammer throw, shot put and discus. He qualified for the IC4A Championships in the hammer with a throw of 174-0, and in the shot put with a heave of 53-1. The senior totaled four titles on the weekend, as he was the winner of the discus at the Monmouth Season Opener on Saturday. In all, he had five top-three finishes in two days.
Mark Stafurik finished right behind Fellows with second-place finishes in the hammer and discus, and was two spots behind him with a third-place showing in the shot put. Matt Wyman was third in the discus.
Williams' title came in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which he won with a time of 9:42.40.
The Bison return to action when they travel to Williamsburg, Virginia for the Colonial Relays, hosted by William and Mary, on Friday and Saturday.
