Baseball's Weekend Series at UNC Greensboro Cancelled

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Due to inclement weather forecast for North Carolina, this weekend's Bucknell baseball series at UNC Greensboro has been cancelled. The Bison and Spartans were scheduled to play a three-game series Friday through Sunday at UNCG Baseball Stadium.
Bucknell went 1-1 on its opening weekend of the 2015 season at Wake Forest. The Bison opened up with an 8-5 loss to Georgetown, but bounced back big offensively with a 16-12 victory over the host Demon Deacons. It marked Bucknell's first win over an ACC opponent since defeating Florida State in the 2008 NCAA Regionals.
The Bison's next scheduled games are a four-game series against Buffalo at Depew Field. Bucknell and the Bulls are slated to play doubleheaders on both Feb. 28 and March 1 starting at noon.
