Breen Earns Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week Honors

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Men's track and field thrower Joseph Breen has been selected as the M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Field Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Bucknell Tune-Up on Friday night.
Breen recorded the top shot put mark in the Patriot League this season as he tossed 16.74 meters to take second place, and first among collegiate athletes, at the Bucknell Tune-Up. It was the third-best toss in school history and easily surpassed the IC4A standard of 15.70 meters.
Bucknell will travel to Navy to compete in the Patriot League Championships this weekend. The three-day event begins on Friday and wraps up on Sunday.
