LEWISBURG, Pa. – Four new inductees will be enshrined in the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday at a sold-out dinner ceremony, and the event will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network starting at 7 p.m. Log on to PatriotLeague.TV to access the webcast.
This year's honorees include former softball, basketball and volleyball coach Terrie Grieb, hoops standout Desire Almind '04, wrestling All-American Bryan Burns '91 and lacrosse All-American and all-time scoring leader Chris Cara '05.
In addition to the four Hall of Fame Inductees, Bill Graham '62 and Kathy Barksdale '85 will be receiving Bison Athletics Alumni Achievement Awards on Friday night.
The 37th Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted on Friday, as part of Homecoming Weekend festivities. The new Hall of Famers will also be re-introduced at halftime of the Bucknell-Georgetown football game on Saturday.
The Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 1979 to honor the very best in the history of Bison athletics. This year's induction brings to 245 the number of outstanding student-athletes, coaches, administrators and friends of Bucknell whose contributions are forever preserved in the Hall of Fame.
