
Men's Water Polo Falls by 9-7 Score at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Stefan Aleksic scored three goals and dished out three assists, but the Bucknell men's water polo team could not defeat Navy for the second time in a week on Saturday afternoon. The Bison fell to the Mids by a 9-7 score in a contest that was broadcast on the Patriot League Network.
Bucknell (11-5, 4-3 CWPA) defeated Navy (8-7) in Kinney Natatorium on Sunday, but could not duplicate the outcome. There were four ties in the contest, but the Mids led for the final 14 minutes of the contest. Aleksic scored his final goal with 2:08 remaining in the fourth quarter to make it 8-7, but Navy scored on its next possession to round out the game's scoring.
Nate Hunter, R.J. Moore, Jeff Hagen and Tommy Stupp also scored goals for Bucknell, while Charlie Niehaus totaled seven saves.
The Bison, who are ranked 13th nationally, will play five games in California starting next Friday.
