LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Three-time Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year Katelyn Miller was one of 21 Bucknell women's lacrosse student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Monday, the most of any of any team in the league. The 34 members of coach Randall Goldsborough's squad combined for a stellar 3.40 grade-point average in the 2014 spring semester, and nearly 62 percent of the team earned the required 3.20 GPA to land a spot on the Honor Roll.
Back in April, Miller became the 16th student-athlete in Patriot League history and the first from the sport of women's lacrosse to win three Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards. She will take a 3.91 cumulative GPA to the University of Maryland Dental School next year.
Three Bison -- Charlotte O'Donnell, Cori Thielmann and Alex Wallace -- recorded perfect 4.0 GPAs this spring, and 20 of the 21 Honor Roll members also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better.
