Bucknell Men's Lacrosse Tops Patriot League with 21 Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- A league-high 21 Bucknell men's lacrosse student-athletes earned spots on the 2014 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday. More than half of the team's 40-man roster earned at least a 3.20 grade-point average to qualify for the Honor Roll, and eight of them recorded a 3.50 or better to make the Bucknell Dean's List this spring.

Bucknell's 21 honorees were three more than Holy Cross and Lehigh, while Lafayette and Loyola had 17 apiece. Bison juniors Sam Grinberg (economics and philosophy) and Ryan Joseph (physics) led the squad with 3.83 GPAs. Grinberg and senior Todd Heritage earned spots on the 11-man Patriot League All-Academic Team following the season.
