LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell baseball's four-game home series scheduled for this weekend at Depew Field has been moved to the Petersburg Sports Complex in Petersburg, Va., due to the cold weather forecast for the Susquehanna Valley. The Bison were scheduled to host Niagara in their first home games of the year.
This weekend's schedule will feature doubleheaders both Saturday and Sunday with a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning contest each day. First pitch Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m., while Sunday's twinbill will begin at noon.
Bucknell is 1-4 on the young season after opening the campaign with a three-game series at nationally ranked South Carolina and splitting contests with Delaware State and Iona last weekend.
Niagara is 3-4 this year. The Purple Eagles were swept in a three-game series at Florida State and then won three out of four from North Carolina Central.
