BRONX, N.Y. – Sophomore Elizabeth Sheprow earned All-ECAC honors with a 15th-place finish Saturday at the ECAC Women's Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park. Bucknell had four runners finish in the top 50 out of 178 competitors and took sixth out of 18 teams.
With the Bison competing in the University Race, Sheprow crossed the line in 18:46. Maddie Dulac (19:05) was 26th, Michelle Golden (19:20) took 39th, and Alison Lockwood (19:28) was 50th to round out the Bucknell runners in the top 50.
It was a nice finish to the season for many of our seniors,” Bucknell head coach Kevin Donner said. “Lizzy Sheprow is really developing into a nice runner and earned an All-East certificate. We will get some rest now and move on to the track season.”
The individual title was won by Marist's Michelle Gaye in 18:09. Sacred Heart won the team championship with 101 points, six less than second-place Holy Cross.
