Bucknell Men's Basketball Places League-High 11 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Capital One Academic All-American and 2013 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year Mike Muscala headlined a list of 11 Bucknell men's basketball student-athletes who earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Monday. Over 73 percent of the team's 15-player roster earned the requisite 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester in order to qualify for the Honor Roll.
The Bison men's basketball program has a long tradition of scholar-athlete success, and this spring was no different. Head coach Dave Paulsen's squad led all Bucknell men's programs with a 3.49 combined GPA. The five seniors -- Muscala, Brian Fitzpatrick, Bryson Johnson, Colin Klebon and Joe Willman -- earned marks ranging from 3.66 to 3.91.
American also produced 11 PL Academic Honor Roll recipients in men's basketball, while Colgate, Lafayette and Lehigh were next with four each.
