Bison Place League-High 24 on PL Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Led by two-time Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year Katelyn Miller, the Bison women's lax squad placed a league-high 24 student-athletes on the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
The Bison had 31 student-athletes on the roster this spring, and 77.4 percent of the team earned a 3.20 grade-point average or higher this semester, earning a spot on the PL Academic Honor Roll. Lafayette was next with 23 recipients, followed by American with 17.
Miller, a biology major with a 3.90 cumulative GPA, is no stranger to the Academic Honor Roll. She made it for the third time in three years, and the all-conference midfielder also became the sixth women's lacrosse student-athlete to earn Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors twice. Also of note, sophomore starting defender Alex Wallace, a managing for sustainability major, achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA this spring.
