Four Bucknell Women's Rowers Named All-Patriot League

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The women's rowing All-Patriot League teams were announced Thursday by the league office and four members of the Bucknell squad were honored. Bison sophomore Amanda Chikowski (Media, Pa./Episcopal Academy) and junior Sarah Riessen (Hanover, N.H./Hanover) were named to the first team, while seniors Jacqueline McKeone (Northfield, N.J./Mainland) and Alaina Puff (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area) landed on the second team. Chikowski, Riessen and McKoene were members of the Bison varsity eight at last week's Patriot League Championship, while Puff was part of the varsity four.
Chikowski, a member of the 2012 CRCA All-Mid-Atlantic Team who made her second consecutive First Team All-Patriot League appearance, is the only repeat honoree for Bucknell, which has now had 29 different student-athletes combine for 41 All-League citations since 2006.
Bucknell finished in second place to Navy at the Patriot League Championship, snapping a string of seven consecutive team titles. The Bison varsity four won its race with Puff in the second seat. The varsity eight finished second to the Mids with McKeone at coxswain, Chikowski in the eight seat and Riessen in the seven seat.
