Winter Storm Causes Cancellation of Bucknell Women's Water Polo's Season-Opening Trip to Brown Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The winter storm that is expected to dump feet of snow on portions of New England has caused the cancellation of Bucknell women's water polo's trip to this weekend's Brown Invitational. The Bison were scheduled to kick off their 15th season of competition by playing four games at the two-day event.

Bucknell will now open its 2013 campaign next weekend at home when it hosts the Bison Invitational Feb. 15-17 in Kinney Natatorium. The Bison will take on Mercyhurst on Friday, George Washington and Brown on Saturday and Villanova and Marist on Sunday. Four of the five Bucknell games will air on Bison Vision. Seniors Krystle Morgan and Tara Murao will be honored during Senior Day ceremonies prior to the Mercyhurst contest.

Bucknell returns 13 letterwinners and five starters from last year.
