Bucknell Track & Field Teams Earn USTFCCCA Academic Accolades

LEWISBURG, Pa. - While three individuals were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track & Field Team in the last 48 hours, the rest of the Bucknell men's and women's squads also earned recognition as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams on Thursday. The Bison women posted a cumulative grade-point average of 3.39, while the men came in at 3.16.
Bucknell was one of four Patriot League schools on the women's side, along with Colgate, Lafayette and Lehigh, to earn a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better to claim the national distinction. On the men's side, Bucknell was joined by Lafayette and Army.
Earlier this week, Robert Arent (New Providence, N.J./New Providence), Leonard Joseph (Whitesboro, N.Y./Clinton) and Tayler Siegrist (Madison, N.J./Madison) were recognized individually as members of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team.
