Bucknell captured all four games at last weekend's CWPA/MAAC Crossover after dropping a conference game to nationally ranked Princeton. The Bison outscored Siena, Iona, Villanova and Wagner by a combined 46-30 score.
Bucknell is 1-2 against ranked opponents this season. The Bison defeated then-No. 20 Iona 12-10 on Saturday to snap a 10-game losing streak against ranked foes.
Bucknell will be playing just its second true road game this season when it faces Harvard on Saturday evening. The Bison lost to Princeton last Friday night in their only other road contest. Bucknell's other 12 games have been at home or at neutral sites.
Bucknell received one vote in this week's national top 20 poll.
Bucknell's current four-game winning streak is its longest since capturing the final two games of 2010 and the first four of 2011. The Bison last had a longer in-season winning streak in 2009.
Saturday's contests against George Washington and Harvard will both count in the conference standings for the Bison.
Bucknell is 6-0 when reaching double figures in goals this season. The Bison have won nine in a row when scoring at least 10 goals.
Sophomore Julianne Valdes crossed the 100-point plateau for her career this past weekend. She now has 109 points in her two-year career, joining seniors Hallie Kennan (233) and Amanda Skonezney (159) to give the Bison three players with at least 100 points.
Kennan has tallied at least one goal in all 13 games this year. She is third on the team with 18 goals on the season.
Sophomore goalie Rena Heim enters the weekend having recorded double-figure saves in three straight outings. She has five double-figure save performances this season and is now up to 208 stops in her two-year career. Her 85 saves this season paces the squad.
Skonezney enters the weekend five goals shy of reaching 100 for her career.
Kennan now ranks 10th in program history in points (233), tied for eighth in goals (144) and 10th in assists (89).
