Bucknell Women's Golf in 4th at Bison Challenge at Paiute

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Bucknell women's golf team is hosting a tournament in Las Vegas for the first time, and after 36 holes the Bison are in fourth place out of 18 teams at the Bison Challenge at Paiute. Kasha Scott (80-77) and Bridget Wilcox (79-78) both have 157 totals to lead Bucknell after a tough day of golf played in high winds.
Bucknell posted team scores of 322 and 312 for a 36-hole total of 634. Oral Roberts leads the tournament at 614 (309-305), followed by San Francisco at 631, Eastern Kentucky at 633 and the Bison at 634. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is in fifth place at 635.
Scott and Wilcox are both tied for 11th place individually. Lauren Bernard's second-round 76 was the team's low round of the day. Bernard opened with an 83 and is in 16th place. Brittany Rendell (82-81) and Minjoo Lee (81-83) also played for the Bison, while Lexi Klein (80-88), Kelsey Meybin (84-87) and Emily Timmons (94-91) competed as individuals.
Crystal Reeves of Oral Roberts and Brittany Atterbury are tied for the lead at 152. Atterbury's opening-round 1-over-par 73 was the low round of the day.
Play resumes on Saturday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
