The Beginner Pitching Clinic is open to players in fourth through eighth grade and will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. For players in ninth through 12th grade, the Bison will be hosting an Advanced Pitching Clinic from 12-2 p.m. on Nov. 19. Participants in both clinics must bring their own catchers.
Also on Nov. 19 is the Hitting Clinic with separate sessions for players in fourth through eighth grade and ninth through 12th. The clinic, which focuses on the offensive fundamentals of the game, will run from 2:30-4 p.m. for older players and 4:15-5:45 p.m. for the younger group. Team and family discounts are available.
All three clinics will be conducted by Bucknell softball players and coaches in Gerhard Fieldhouse on the Bucknell campus. See registration forms for more information on each clinic.
The Bison finished the 2011 season with a 14-36 record. Among those earning postseason honors was recent graduate Alison Ford, who was voted the Patriot League Player of the Year. Bucknell has won two Patriot League Championships, the most recent coming in 2010 when the squad also advanced to the first NCAA Tournament in program history.
