Bucknell Leads Patriot League with 45 Women's Rowers Named to Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's rowing team led the Patriot League with 45 Academic Honor Roll selections, the league office announced Monday. This is the second straight year the Bison have paced the league. A league-best 208 Bucknell women's rowers have now been named to the Academic Honor Roll over the last seven years.
Bucknell nearly doubled-up second place MIT's 24 Academic Honor Roll selections, while Holy Cross was third with 23 selections.
Anna Johnson, Taylor Jordan and Ashley Rooney each earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester. The Bison, who are coming off their sixth consecutive league crown, registered three of the eight 4.0 GPAs in the Patriot League. It is the third consecutive year at least three Bucknell Academic Honor Roll members have posted perfect GPAs.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
