LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell's allotment of tickets for Friday's Patriot League men's basketball championship game at Sojka Pavilion, as allocated by the Patriot League, has been sold out. Should the visiting team return any unsold tickets from its allotment, those tickets would go on sale Thursday at 3 p.m. through the Bucknell Campus Box Office. Please check back at BucknellBison.com on Thursday for further advisement.
There are Campus Box Office locations at the Weis Center, the CAP Center inside the Elaine Langone Center, and at the Barnes and Noble Bucknell Bookstore on Market Street in downtown Lewisburg. Bucknell is the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Tournament after finishing the regular season with a 13-1 conference record. Now 24-8 overall, 22-2 since Dec. 1, and 18-1 since Christmas, the Bison reached the championship game with a 78-51 quarterfinal win over No. 8 Army, followed by a thrilling 66-64 semifinal victory over defending champion Lehigh on Sunday night.
Bucknell will host sixth-seeded Lafayette in Friday's final. The Leopards upset No. 2 American in double overtime in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.
The championship game is set to tip off at 4:45 p.m., and the game will air live on ESPN2.
The Bison will be making their eighth appearance in the Patriot League championship game, and they are looking to win it for the first time since their back-to-back titles in 2005 and 2006.
