Bucknell Backcourt Club Luncheon Set for Thursday

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- With the 2010-11 regular season winding down and the Bucknell men's basketball team locked into first place in the Patriot League standings, coach Dave Paulsen and members of the Bison will reflect on an outstanding regular season on Thursday at the monthly Backcourt Club Luncheon at the Lewisburg Hotel.
The luncheon gets started at noon, and the $8 admission fee includes a buffet meal and a raffle ticket to win prizes.
The Bison are 20-8 overall and 11-1 in the Patriot League with two games remaining: Wednesday at home against Lehigh and Saturday at home against Army. Saturday will be Senior Day at Sojka Pavilion, with a tribute to G.W. Boon, Darryl Shazier and Stephen Tyree set for just before the 4 p.m. tipoff.
Bucknell will be the No. 1 seed at next week's Patriot League Tournament. The Bison will be home throughout the tournament, beginning with a quarterfinal game on Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m.
