LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Minjoo Lee, the 2009-10 Big South Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year, headlined a list of eight Bucknell student-athletes named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll. The Bison rostered nine players last year, meaning an astounding 88.9 percent of the team made the Honor Roll.
In order to qualify for the Big South Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a minimum combined 3.0 grade-point average over the entire school year. A total of 60 women's golfers made the list in 2009-10.
In addition to Lee, who was also an All-Big South performer after a fourth-place finish at the conference championship last spring, other Bucknell student-athletes to qualify were Leah Antkiewicz, Alex Brown, Alana Friedlander, Cynthia Iselin, Katie Jurenovich, Kate Monahan and Brittany Rendell.
The Bison open their 2010-11 campaign on Sept. 11-12 at home at the Bucknell Invitational.
