Bucknell Track & Field to Hold Second Annual Running of the Bison Charity Event

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell track and field is well into its outdoor season, but even its busy meet schedule can't keep the team from staying active in the community. The Orange and Blue will be holding the Second Annual Running of the Bison on Sunday, April 18, a five-kilometer run and one-mile walk benefitting the local Special Olympics. The event, which begins and ends at Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg, is slated for a 10 a.m. start with an award ceremony to follow.

Registration prior to April 12 is $15 for the 5K and $5 for the walk. After April 12, registration is $20 for the 5K and $10 for the walk. Proceeds will go to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania - Northumberland, Snyder and Union Counties.
