Bucknell Women's Lacrosse Ends Season with Loss at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy showed off its high-powered offense with a 20-goal first half and dealt the Bucknell women's lacrosse team a 24-4 setback in the final game of the regular season. The Bison finish the season 2-15 overall and 0-6 in the Patriot League, while Navy improved to 14-3, 5-1, and will be either the first or second seed at next week's Patriot League Tournament.
One of the highest scoring teams in the nation, Navy put the ball in the net early and often in the first half en route to a commanding 20-1 lead. The Mids then outscored the Bison 4-3 in the second half, with the Bison scoring three straight goals late after trailing 23-1.
Erin Rawlick led the way for Navy with six goals, two assists and 11 draw controls. Rawlick went over the 60-goal and 90-point plateaus for the season. Caitlin Mandrin-Hill added four goals and four assists, and Katrina Niesch and Danielle Vivonetto also had four-goal games.
Julia Braun scored Bucknell's first-half goal, while Chelsea Peters, Paige Cobbs and Ryan Wenk added second-half tallies. Carol Donohue had an assist, and she wraps up her career with the school records for points (185) and assists (78.)
