Bucknell Men's Water Polo Volunteers at Local Food Bank

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's water polo team recently spent an afternoon helping out at the Eastern Union County Supplemental Food Program at the First Baptist Church in Lewisburg. The food bank distributes approximately 350 bags of food to about 250 families the first and third Friday of every month and relies heavily on volunteers.
The Bison water polo programs spend a lot of time volunteering. The men's program has spent time doing manual labor at nearby R.B. Winter State Park, while the women's program has volunteered at T&D's Cats of the World and Mostly Mutts Dog Shelter this academic year.
