Bucknell Women's Golf Improves by Five Shots in Final Round of C&F Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) shot a 4-over-par 76 to lead Bucknell in the final round of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon at Ford's Colony Country Club. The Bison shot 331 as a team, five strokes better than their first-round score, and finished 14th in a field of 21.
Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland), who led the team with a 79 in Saturday's opening round, shot 84 on Sunday. Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) also posted an 84, while Alana Friedlander (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) finished with an 87 and Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) with a 91.
Lee's stellar final round came on the heels of a first-round 81, and her 157 total put her in a tie for 19th place.
With a 667 total, Bucknell edged Fairfield by one shot and Dartmouth by three. Host William & Mary parlayed a final-round 304 into a seven-stroke victory over runner-up Akron.
Kameron Carter of Longwood posted a pair of 73s to win the individual title by one shot over Old Dominion's Samantha Morrell and Radford's Megan Leineweber.
Bucknell will be back in action on March 26-27 at the Cincinnati Spring Invitational at the Plantation Inn Golf Course in Crystal River, Fla.
