Bucknell Women's Golf Finishes 12th at Low Country Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Bucknell women's golf team struggled a bit on Sunday, posting a team score of 351 in the final round of the Low Country Intercollegiate at Moss Creek Golf Club. The Bison finished in 12th place with a 36-hole total of 684.
Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) led the team with an 83, five shots better than her first-round score. Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland) and Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston), who both posted 79s on Saturday, finished with 87 and 88, respectively.
Also for the Bison, Alana Friedlander (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) shot 93 and Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) carded a 97.
Tournament co-host Western Carolina won the event with a two-day total of 616, two shots better than James Madison. Augusta State (619), Jacksonville (625) and Richmond (635) rounded out the top five.
Natalie Wille of Augusta State won the individual medal, defeating Richmond's Jillian Fraccola with a birdie on the third playoff hole. Both players shot 74-75.
Bucknell will be back in action next weekend at the William & Mary Invitational.
