Bucknell Men's Aquatics Programs Volunteer at R.B. Winter State Park

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Kinney Natatorium is typically home to the Bucknell men's water polo and swimming and diving teams, but last week R.B. Winter State Park was their home turf. The two teams volunteered their services at the nearby park last Saturday and helped revitalize the hiking trails. It is the second consecutive year the programs have teamed up to assist in beautifying the park.
The coaching staffs and student-athletes worked in small groups under the direction of park ranger Bob Defner to maintain and repair hiking trails, landscape areas of the park and build retaining walls between creeks and trails.
The Bison teams plan to continue the annual community service activity next year.
