Bucknell Women's Rowing Opens Spring Break Trip with Sweep of Boston College

ELBERTON, Ga. (Lake Russell) – The Bucknell women's rowing team opened its spring season last Friday against Boston College on Lake Russell. Despite a non-traditional format where the varsity eights, second varsity eights and freshman eights from each team rowed three pieces against each other, the Bison had success, winning all nine races.
The competition with Boston College kicked off a week-long training trip to Georgia for the Bison, who will compete again March 20 at Virginia on the Rivanna Reservoir in Charlottesville, Va. The next day Bucknell will face North Carolina.
