Bucknell Notes
• Bucknell defeated Villanova (17-3) and Mercyhurst (14-1) last weekend. The 14-goal difference against the Wildcats was two goals shy of the largest victory in program history for the Bison. The last time Bucknell won by at least 14 goals was in 2004 when it defeated Maryland 17-3.
• Bucknell's 17 goals last Saturday against Villanova marked the fifth time in the last two years the Bison have netted at least 17 goals. The program record is 19, which was last recorded in 2003 against Washington & Jefferson.
• Bucknell's 31 goals last Saturday marked the most in back-to-back games for the Bison since last March 1 when they registered 33 goals against Slippery Rock and Wagner at last year's ECAC Championship.
• Bucknell has played two weekends this year and has swept the CWPA Southern Division weekly awards both times. Following the Michigan Kick-Off in late January, Valentina Rozas (Player of the Week) and Amanda Skonezney (Rookie of the Week) were honored. Last week Aubrey Rowe was the Player of the Week, while Hallie Kennan earned Rookie of the Week plaudits.
• Despite playing half of its games in 2009 against top-10 teams, Bucknell is being outscored by just a 58-54 margin this season.
• Rozas leads Bucknell with 16 goals in five games played this season for an average of 3.2 per game. Last year Rozas led the team with 68 goals, for an average of 1.9 per game.
• With her team-high 21 points this season, Rozas now has 179 for her career. That places her tied for ninth place in program history with Julie McLaughlin. Rowe ranks sixth on the same list as she enters the weekend with 247 career points, which is just one behind fifth-place Cody Keffer. Rowe is also one goal behind Keffer on the career list, while she is tied with her on the assist list. - Aubrey Rowe's career totals: 155 goals, 92 assists, 247 points - Cody Keffer's career totals: 156 goals, 92 assists, 248 points
• Only three Bison have started all six games this season: Rowe, Kandis Canonica and Skonezney. Rowe is expected to play in her 100th career game on Sunday.
• Sunday's contest will be a tough one for Aubrey Rowe's parents as Callan Rowe, Aubrey's sister, is a freshman on the Terps' roster. It will be the first collegiate meeting between the two sisters.
