Bucknell Women's Cross Country Leads League with 28 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's cross country team placed 28 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll the league announced Wednesday. Ashley Behre (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive) and Colleen Gavigan (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) each earned a grade-point average of 4.0 in the fall semester to lead the team.
Bucknell's 28 selections led league teams for most student-athletes receiving accolades, with the next closest team being Holy Cross with 14 selections. The Patriot League recognized a total of 84 women's cross country student-athletes for their academic success.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
