Red Flash Open - Meet Program
LEWISBURG, Pa. - After hosting two consecutive home meets, the Bucknell men's track and field team is scheduled to have athletes competing at the Penn Relays this weekend, April 24-26, and at the Red Flash Open, this Saturday, April 26. The Bison are coming off a second-place finish this past weekend, behind Penn State in first, at the Bucknell Team Challenge.
"This is our last weekend of competition before the Patriot League Championships," explained head coach Kevin Donner, "We are competing some of our top people at the prestigious Penn Relays. We have to make sure not to overwork anybody at this meet, so most of our athletes will compete in just one event."
Coach Donner adds, "We have many others competing at an open meet at Saint Francis (Pa.) against Youngstown State, Saint Francis (Pa.), Slippery Rock, Robert Morris and Cal-Pa. Some are using it as a tune-up while others are trying to make our 40-person Patriot League squad. We are also resting a few people this weekend."
