Bucknell Tennis' Home Match Against Fairleigh Dickinson Cancelled

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's home men's and women's tennis matches against Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday, March 18, have been cancelled due to rain and snow in the forecast for the afternoon. The Bison were scheduled to have a two-match week against Fairleigh Dickinson at home on Tuesday afternoon and against Villanova on the road, Wednesday afternoon. No make-up date for Tuesday's match has been announced.
The Bucknell men's tennis team is currently 6-3 on the season and is on a four-match winning streak. Most recently, the Orange and Blue played in Hilton Head, S.C., for spring break, and picked up a 6-1 win over Robert Morris on March 10, a 7-0 win over Southern Indiana on March 12, and a 7-0 win over Winston-Salem State on March 14. Bucknell is set to take on an 0-8 Villanova squad on Wednesday.
The Bison women are 4-5 on the season and have won their past three consecutive matches. In Hilton Head, S.C., for spring break, the Orange and Blue defeated Northwestern (Minn.), 7-0, on March 11, and Winston-Salem State, 7-0, on March 14. Bucknell will face a 2-5 Villanova squad tomorrow afternoon.
Wednesday's men's and women's matches against the Wildcats are slated to begin at 1 p.m. in Villanova, Pa.
