Bucknell's Medlock Tabbed As Patriot League Field Athlete Of The Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Timothy Medlock (Evan Mills, N.Y./Indian River) of the Bucknell men's track and field team notched Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week honors for his performance this past weekend at the Bucknell Winter Classic, the league announced Tuesday.
At the Winter Classic on Feb. 9, Medlock won the shot put, posting a career-best and IC4A-qualifying distance of 52 feet, 6 inches. His mark placed him second on Bucknell's all-time list for the event. Medlock went on to place eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 47-10.
Medlock posted his seventh IC4A standard this season in the shot put at the Bucknell Winter Classic. He topped his last career best of 52-3 3/4, which was set at the Bucknell Heptagonal on Jan. 19, where he placed second.
The Bucknell men's and women's track and field teams will have this weekend off to prepare for the Patriot League Indoor Championships which will be held Feb. 22 - 24, at Gerhard Fieldhouse in Lewisburg, Pa.
