Bucknell Men's Basketball Luncheon Thursday

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The first monthly Bucknell men's basketball Backcourt Club Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday at 11:45 a.m. at the Lewisburg Hotel on Market Street in downtown Lewisburg. First-year head coach Dave Paulsen will speak about the team's first month of the season and look ahead to Saturday's Wake Forest game and beyond.
The $8 admission fee includes a buffet lunch and a raffle ticket for a chance to win Bison basketball-related prizes.
The Bison men's basketball squad is coming off a 68-65 loss at La Salle on Tuesday night. Bucknell is 1-5 on the season, but of the last four losses two have come in overtime and the other two by a combined seven points.
In addition to this Thursday's gathering, Backcourt Club luncheons will be held Jan. 8, Feb. 5 and Feb. 26 during the 2008-09 basketball campaign.
