LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Patrick Behan, a junior forward on the Bucknell men's basketball team, has begun contributing to the New York Times' college sports blog, called The Quad. Behan's first entry appeared on Friday, and throughout the season he will be writing about the Bison's season and on life in general as a college basketball student-athlete.

Behan is a projected starter at forward for the Bison in 2008-09. Last season he played in 30 games with 14 starts and averaged 6.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He scored in double-figures six times, including a 16-point game at Villanova and a career-high 18 points against Saint Francis (Pa.). Behan is an English major from Leesburg, Va.

Bucknell's season opener will be at Maryland on Nov. 14.
