Saturday's Bucknell-Lafayette Football Game to be Televised

LEWISBURG, Pa. - For the first time this season the Bucknell football team will appear on live television when it hosts Lafayette in a key Patriot League game Saturday. The game will be shown on FOX56 WOLF TV, which is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and is available in Lewisburg and throughout Central and Northeast Pennsylvania.
FOX56 will pick up the Lafayette Sports Network broadcast of the game, which will kick off at 1 p.m. Additionally, the game will air in the Lehigh Valley on RCN-4 and WBPH-60. MASN (DirecTV 640, Dish 432) will show the game on a tape-delayed basis Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 8 a.m.
Fans who make the trip to Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium will have the opportunity to receive a Bucky Bison bobblehead as well as other giveaway items. At halftime the Bucknell women's basketball team will receive its 2008 Patriot League Championship rings in an on-field ceremony.
The Bison football team enters Saturday's contest with a 4-4 record and is 1-2 in Patriot League play. Lafayette is 6-2 overall and 2-1 in league play and showed up in the national rankings prior to its 21-13 loss at Colgate last Saturday.
