Bucknell Backcourt Club Luncheon Set for Thursday

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bison basketball fans are reminded that the next scheduled meeting of the Bucknell Backcourt Club will be Thursday, Jan. 3 at 11:45 a.m. at the Lewisburg Hotel. Head coach Pat Flannery and select Bison players will be in attendance to talk about the team and look ahead to the upcoming start of Patriot League play.
The $10 admission includes a hot buffet lunch.
Bucknell went 1-1 at the Golden Bear Classic in Berkeley, Calif., over the weekend, and the Bison have two more non-conference game prior to the start of league play -- Wednesday night at home against Ohio (7 p.m.) and Saturday at St. Bonaventure (4 p.m).
The Bison Club and Bertoni's Pizza will be co-sponsoring a fan bus to St. Bonaventure on Saturday. To reserve your spot, contact Todd Newcomb at 570-577-1771.
