LEWISBURG, Pa. - The internet video broadcast schedule for Bucknell's fall sports, which features a total of 10 events in September and October, was announced Tuesday. The Bison field hockey, men's and women's soccer, volleyball and men's water polo teams will each have live video of two events available via BucknellBison.com and SportsJuice.com.
Fans will be able to link to the video broadcasts, which will be available for a subscription fee, by clicking on the "Live Audio & Video" button on the front page of BucknellBison.com.
Doug Birdsong, Bucknell's coordinator of radio, television, marketing and promotions, as well as the lead play-by-play voice of the Bison Sports Network, will serve as the play-by-play voice for all broadcasts. He will be joined by select guest analysts throughout the fall season.
The first live video broadcast of the fall will be the field hockey team's 6 p.m. game with La Salle on Friday, Sept. 14, at Graham Field. Coverage of all events will begin 10 minutes prior to the start of play.
All Bucknell football games will continue to be broadcast live online as well. The home games will feature live video for a fee as well as a free audio feed from Birdsong and color analyst George Burman. Away games will have just the audio feed. All Bison football contests will also be broadcast on Eagle 107 (WEGH 107.3 FM).
Birdsong will also host the weekly radio program Bison Live! at Damon's Grill on Route 15 in Lewisburg. For the first time this year, fans can watch live video of the show, which airs on WMLP 1380 AM Thursdays from 7-8 p.m.
