LEWISBURG, Pa. - The remnants of last week's snowfall have forced changes in the Bucknell baseball and men's and women's tennis schedules for this Tuesday, Mar. 20. The Bison baseball squad's home doubleheader, originally slated for 1 p.m. against Binghamton, has been cancelled, while the home men's and women's tennis matches versus Mount St. Mary's, have been moved to Tuesday, Apr. 3, at 4 p.m.
The Bucknell baseball team is currently 5-9 on the year and is scheduled to travel to Mount St. Mary's on Thursday, Mar. 22, for a single game at 3 p.m., and has four home games on the docket for this Saturday and Sunday against Stony Brook. So far on the year, junior Shawn Hirsch (Morristown, N.J./Morristown), leads the Bison hitters with a .344 batting average. He has five RBI and three runs scored to his credit as well. Junior Matthew Wilson (Toronto, Ontario/Northern S.S.) heads up the Bison starting rotation with a record of 2-1 and a 0.89 ERA through 20.1 innings.
