STANTON, Del. -- Stuart Lindgren shot a 1-over-par 73 and all five Bucknell golfers in the lineup shot 77 or better, as Bucknell sits in third place out of 16 teams after day one of the Scotty Duncan Memorial, hosted by Delaware at White Clay Creek Golf Course.
The Bison shot 298 as a team, six shots behind Iona and Cornell, who are tied for the team lead. Lindgren's 73 puts him in a tie for seventh place individually, while Andrew Cohen and Ben Mattingly are tied for 10 after shooting 74.
Parker Phillips and Jeff Pike both carded 77s.
Sean Curtin of Iona shot a 3-under 69 to take the individual lead after 18 holes.
The tournament wraps up on Sunday.
