LEWISBURG, Pa. - Fresh off its first-ever Patriot League title last weekend, the Bucknell women's rowing squad had a league-most four athletes named to the initial All-Patriot League women's rowing team Wednesday. Brittany Kaplan (Belmont, Mass./Belmont), Jennie Trayes (Hawley, Pa./Wallenpaupack), Kelly Henkler (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) and Coral Swartz (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe) all landed spots on the team as the Bison claimed four of the 11 rowers honored.

The Bison varsity four boat also won its race on Sunday, while the second varsity eight claimed second.
The format for the All-Patriot League women's rowing team is predicated on the team's finish in the varsity eight race at the Patriot League championship. The first-place team earns three rowers and one coxswain, the second-place boat earns three rowers, while the third-place boat places two rowers on the all-league team. Both the fourth and fifth-place finishers place one rower on the all-league squad.
In addition to the All-Patriot League plaudits, Bucknell's head coach, Stephen Kish, earned Coach of the Year accolades, while the varsity eight was named Boat of the Year.
Even though the Patriot League Championship has come and gone, the Bison's season is not over yet. Bucknell travels to Philadelphia, Pa., for the Dad Vail Regatta May 12-13.
