Junior Joshua Kaehler (Hanover, Pa./South Western) completed his 2006 outdoor season with Bucknell track and field on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA East Regional Championships. Kaehler took 16th in the javelin competition, held at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, N.C.

Kaehler's best heave of the day was recorded at 201 feet, 9 inches.

Winning the event was Justin Ryncavage of North Carolina with a launch of 240-10.

Earlier in the season, at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships, Kaehler marked a personal best throw of 212-9. The mark places him second in the Bucknell record books.
