
Bucknell Men's Tennis Ends Season on Winning Note

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Despite getting swept in doubles action, the Bison men came back and fought hard and collected four of the six singles points to defeat Delaware, 4-3, on Tuesday afternoon on Bucknell's tennis courts in Lewisburg, Pa., in the final match of the season.
After dropping each of the doubles matches, Bucknell won singles No. 1-4 to come back and collect the W. In No. 1 was Ira Reibeisen (Armonk, N.Y./Rye Country Day-Upper), who defeated Jesse Carl, 6-3, 6-3.
In his last match with the Bison, captain Asher Salam (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) dominated in the No. 2 spot over Noal Greenberg, 6-4, 6-0.
Ryan Sandburg (Orange, Calif./Canyon) was victorious in the No. 3, 6-1, 6-0, while Jonathan Brenner captured a win in the fourth and final spot, 6-7, 2-6, 7-6 (6).
The Orange and Blue closed out their season with an overall win-loss record of 7-13, while going 1-5 in the Patriot League.
