CHARLESTON, S.C. - In its second match of the day Bucknell suffered a 6-1 setback against The Citadel at the Earle Tennis Center. The Bulldogs edged the Bison to win the doubles point and used that momentum during the singles matches to carry them to victory.

Bucknell (3-6) tied the doubles point with a close 9-8 (3) win at No. 2 doubles as freshman Ryan Sandburg (Orange, Calif./Canyon) and sophomore John Lashnits (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greely) topped The Citadel's David Lara and Nick Medica.
