PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell women's water polo team faced its stiffest test of the week-old season Friday night at DeNunzio Pool at the Princeton Invitational in No. 17 Indiana and nearly pulled off the upset, but fell to the Hoosiers 12-9 after holding a 6-5 halftime lead.
Meagan Gins (Albuquerque, N.M./Valley) led the Bison, who scored three goals in each of the first two quarters to stake themselves to the one-goal halftime advantage.
